Kristy is originally from New York state and relocated to make Florida home in 2001. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology with honors in research at Florida State University before going on to obtain her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida. She is a nationally certified physician assistant who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Accountable Inpatient Medicine. Kristy has nearly 15 years’ experience in inpatient medicine in both smaller private practices and large, national organizations alike, taking on leadership and consulting roles. She has worked in facilities all over Florida; from the Keys to Daytona Beach, and Naples to Sarasota. She has spent time in Texas, North Carolina and Massachusetts as a consultant until 2013 when she opted to spend more time in Naples to be closer to her (now) husband. She was a minority owner of the very successful Neapolitan Inpatient Care. She gathered subspecialty experience in Gastroenterology with not only routine management of patients on a day to day basis but also participation in national and international drug research protocols. When not working, Kristy and her husband enjoy boating and fishing in the gulf and stay active logging hundreds of miles each month running and biking. Kristy finds it important to maintain a good work and home life balance in order to provide quality care to patients.
