Born and Raised in Clearwater, FL, Dr. Lorynn Hunter is a lifelong Pinellas County resident. Dr. Hunter earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Hunter then earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Bradenton, Florida. She then went on to complete her Residency training in Internal Medicine at Largo Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident her final year.
Dr. Hunter then began as a travel Hospitalist and cared for patients throughout the state of Florida. Upon finishing the travel Hospitalist position, she knew that Pinellas county was the community she wanted to serve. She is incredibly excited to be starting AIM (Accountable Inpatient Medicine) of Pinellas and the opportunity this brings to care for patients in her hometown. At the foundation of AIM Pinellas, is Dr. Hunter’s tireless commitment to her patients and their well-being. When she is not working, Dr. Hunter enjoys spending time with her family and her French Bulldog Cooper!
